This is my version of Beautiful Love by Wayne King, Victor Young and Egbert Van Alstyne. Got interested in this song after hearing John Abercrombie and Joe Beck's version with the Bill Evans' version sealing the deal. When I was recording this I had the book Dharma bums in my head along with the music of Charlie Mingus, Charlie Parker and trains travelling vast expanses. This is a gritty be-bop solo with some real technical challenges.
